Tiara stands out in a crowd. Her vicuna type fiber is the most gorgeous shade of light rose grey and feels like silk, passed on by her mother Tirana. Her sire Yupanqui is an import as well, so Tiara brings rare genetics to our herd.
Her first cria Tiarella, sired by MFI Grey Streak, is an adorable, spunky and glossy black girl with lots of crimp.
Tyra, her second girl, a beautiful maroon, is the result of breeding Tiara to Macusani's Tynan, a very impressive TB herdsire. We bred Tiara to our herdsire Prince Caspian and she gave birth to Tassilo, a stunning male cria with incredibley dense and crimpy fiber. Tiara passed on her gorgeous shade of lavender rose grey and this little guy is a show stopper. Watch for him in the show ring!
Tiara has excellent mothering abilities and lots of milk for her crias. She has unassisted births and is a problem free alpaca.
Tiara is being bred now to our Junior herdsire Silver Arrow for another fantastic cria in 2010. We hope for a rose grey girl!!
