If you have always wanted a true maroon alpaca, then Ina is your girl!!! Ina has a very fine fiber with a wonderful character and handle. She is also capable of reproducing her beautiful color, when bred to the right male. So far she has thrown maroon, rose grey, light brown with grey and white and also true black for us.
Not only is her offspring as striking as she is, they all have also a very proud presence and gentle disposition. Her first male cria for us out of the Sayvon line (Maroon) has never been shown due to time conflicts.
Her second cria for us, Lohengrin de Legacy de Bolivia, won a 3rd place at MOPACA and also a 3rd place at IAOBA 2006 in a very competative rose grey class.
Her third cria, General Steel's Manolito has not been shown yet, but watch for him at upcoming shows. Her current cria has outstanding crimp and shows great promise. We are thrilled and look forward to showing him off.
Ina is currently bred to our herdsire El Greco. We look forward to a great cria in Fall and hope for a grey girl.
